What it does

• Capture your microphone, or any tab, window, or screen Chrome's own sharing dialog decides what's shared — a call, a video, a lecture, anything playing audio.
• Live captions, plus a live translation Text appears as it's spoken. Turn on translation and a second stream runs alongside it, into the language you pick.
• Pause and resume without losing anything Recognized text stays on screen through pauses, tab switches, and reconnects.
• A searchable history, kept on your device Past recordings, transcripts, and translations are saved locally and never uploaded anywhere.
• Export to Word or subtitles Take a transcript out as a .docx file, or as .srt subtitles timed to the recording.
